Settling Into Life at Home

We have been home almost two weeks now and we are trying to settle into a "routine."  Henrik got to meet his cousins last weekend as we tried to get a Christmas picture for Nana and Boompa...needless to say, it was a big morning for him!  We also had newborn pictures taken by our very talented friend, Molly Cosens!  There is a sneak peak below!

Henrik was struggling to gain weight early on, but has turned a corner and is doing quite well.  He is still pretty sleepy, and we need to wake him up for feedings every 3 hours.  We are also supplementing his feedings with pumped milk to ensure that he is getting what he needs.   We head back to the pediatricians tomorrow to see how much he has gained.   Alex went back to work on Monday, so Grandma Linda came for the week to spend time with her new grandson and help out at the house.  It has been great having her here in Minneapolis.  Overall, we are doing well, and can't get enough of this guy!

Sleeping peacefully - he does this most of the day...we need to wake him up for feedings with cold washcloths, and cold hands!

Meeting the Lowe cousins - they love baby "Henwik"
Hadley immediately wanted to rock the car seat for the baby...
and Kellan came right at Henrik to give him a big hug!  They are so sweet!

Beckett looked on in his super cute LC hat!
Nana got the kids matching sweaters for Christmas, we decided this may have to be an annual tradition...although we will see how well this works when they all hit their adolescent years!

Here is a sneak peak at one of the photos from Molly Cosens...we can't wait to see the rest!
Scout is adjusting to her new brother, she needs to be close by at all times!
 First bath

 All snuggled up with Dad
Hanging out with Holly
Henrik got to meet Jenny and Ben
Grandma Linda is the current resident supplement feeder.  She a natural with a syringe!

Grandma Linda gave Henrik a quick soak  - he seems to like the water!  Hopefully this transfers to the lake this summer!
