Henrik has discovered that he has hands and they taste really good! Everything he can get in his hot little hand ends up in his mouth. If there is nothing to grab onto...his fingers work just fine! It is so fun to watch him discover his world! The other big news since our last post is that Henrik now eats oatmeal cereal. Admittedly, we have a lot of room to grow with our eating skills, but he'll get there all in good time!

The smallest member of family has a very hard time with photo shoots. For the past 5 years she has been the center of photo shoots, and can't seem to understand these monthly photos of her brother. Typically while we take pics of Baby H she hangs out right under the chair barking and crying. This time we decided to let her join in officially!
Scout wants to put everything in her mouth too!
This is the Orb...Henrik LOVES this toy! He holds it in his hands to and from school everyday...even if he falls asleep.

Time to eat...he's not so sure about this plastic bib...
Those first few bites were pretty tricky...that tongue is hard to work! I'm not sure if we got more cereal into the belly, or all over the rest of the body!
This isn't so bad! He has about 6 tablespoons of oatmeal cereal a day and really seems to enjoy it! He eats twice a day at school which means he gets to sit at the big kid table.
This is a video of one of our first eating sessions. Our little guy wasn't so sure about having to sit up in the high chair, so I put him on my lap to calm him down a bit. We discovered a little trick to make it through those first few bowls...

We went for a quick visit over to Jen and Erik's to see that cute Baby Quinten again...and Hadley and Kellan put in a good team effort to run Scout's growler. I think Scout's tenacity took Hads by surprise...she plays a bit harder than her sister Lola!

Hadley is always ready to be a helper...especially with bottles :)
H has someone else to hang out with up on his perch on the counter at Nana and Boompa's. Q and H snoozed right through dinner...H kept his grip on the orb!
When H gets home from school he is usually pretty tired. Typically we have dinner, sometimes a bath, read some books and then snuggle into bed. Sometimes he has played so hard at school, he can barely maintain consciousness through dinner. When this happens we skip the books and go for the snuggle! On this particular night we were ready to read!
