Baptism and Packing on the Ounces

This was a big week for the Nelson family! Henrik was baptised at St. Stephen Luthern Church on January 13th. Henrik has also reach his target weight zone, at a whopping 8lbs 5oz. (Scout is still bigger.) He intially had some challenges with gaining weight, but we are making great progress now. Henrik is now getting fed breastmilk from bottles, which has helped greatly with the weight gain. We can now track what he is actually eating. He gladly chugs them down, and it definitely makes it easier for Mom and Dad. He is a healthly little boy and we have been blessed with a very happy baby. Here are some pictures from this past week.

 Happy Camper! (fresh diaper)
 Tiny tootsies
Henrik's preferred hairstyle is the faux hawk.
This teddy bear is Henrik's first Christmas present from his Mom and Dad. We plan to take weekly pictures in this chair with his bear to watch him grow!
Scout insisted on joining too.

Henrik in his baptism gown. He was super excited about the event. He slept through the entire service.
